Apparently there is a new take-home kit that allows expecting mothers to find out the gender of their upcoming baby in as little as five weeks into their pregnancy. It's called the Baby Gender Mentor. Has anyone heard of it? Is it legitimate?

Apparently, it's a $25 kit that comes with a tool that the mother can prick her finger with, send it off to a lab in Massachusetts, and have the conclusion returned to them for $250 (lab fees). The results are supposed to come within 48 hours.

From what I understand, the people at the lab can ID the baby's DNA in their mother's blood. IF they find a Y chromosome, it's a baby boy. If there is no Y chromosome, it will be a baby girl.

I'm posting to see if anyone has heard of this "Baby Gender Mentor". Feedback?

I have never heard of it, but ould ike mor feedback on it too. But to save all some money, most can wait until the ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. Finding out in 5 weeks or 3 months, the sex of the baby is going to stay the same.......

most women these days receive an ultrasound at some point, and often they can observe gender at that time.
