i was wondering if taking cranberry tablets would help to provide an acidic environment to help favor x sperm?

cranberry juice or tablets are often used to naturally reduce urinary infections--theoretically due to its action as an inhibitor of bacterial growth--a sort of mild "antimicrobial" effect. the effects are not due to ph changes.

vitamin c could theoretically cause increased acidity/lower ph of vaginal environment if used in high doses, although i would not necessarily recommend it in gender selection

My husband and I had two boys and were thinking of having another child. WIth two boys already, we thought a girl would complete the picture. I am a registered nurse that wanted real & precise information. We went with this site because a friend of mine had used it and we are now the proud parents of Emily. I am seriously recommending this site for those who want a specifil gender.

thank you for you positive comments; there is a lot of infomation out there on gender selection and getting pregnant, but it is hard to sort out the truth from the myths. We want to help couples and parents-to-be find the facts on pregnancy and gender selection, in easy to understand language. doc www.washingtonpublishers.com

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Timing (sex to ovulation date)
Positioning

Ph of the vaginal environment
Dietary influences

these two major and two minor factors are the basis of natural gender selection methods, which are detailed in our gender selection book: Baby Girl or Baby Boy--Choose the Sex of Your Child.

they follow and are based on studies and research similar to the shettles methods--though our book is quite a bit more easy to understand and read.
