Hi my name is Stephany and my husband and I have been trying to get me pregnant but I just can't! My husband has been really upset because we all thought I was pregnant but it turns out I wasn't so I really don't know what to do. I talked to a doctor but all he said was, "Well,... I really don't know what to tell you" thanks to this I have been so depressed because I sometimes watch my sister in law play with her kids and so sometimes I just can't help to think i will never be able to do that. Please I begg of you help me get pregnant!!!!!!! Thank you for your time,

Hi, it is best not to get too anxious. That in itself can lower your fertility.

First, your age, medical history, and how long you've been trying, are necessary to know. Stephany, on a personal note, I'd like to add a couple of things. You said you get depressed and said esp. when watching your sil play with her kids...she probably is sad inside for you, too. I had 4 children in the 9 years my best friend was trying to get pregnant...it hurt me and made me feel guilty because I was able to have children and she wasn't. Be sure and talk to her openly about it...she may habe things she'd like to say to you, too, but just hasn't felt right about doing so. And prayer...I'm a firm believer of prayer. In fact 7 months before my friend finally conceived naturally I made a pact to pray about this daily for her. I'm not saying it was my prayers that did it but I know how good it felt for her knowing I was praying. It's a tough thing to go through so don't try to go at it alone...confide in family and friends and most of all in the Lord! With the support and encouragement of these people and the medical knowldge and expertise of doctors you'll get through it and hopefully be successful and giving birth to a precious child.
