I know that you can go by the CM each month to get an idea of when you ovulate.

I do not have CM every month so am I still ovulating even though I am not finding CM. We even probed for the CM and there isn't any.

thanks

ovulation is getting easier to pinpoint these days.

BBT thermometers are more accurate and help one see the temp spike associated with ovulation more easily.

you can buy packs of ovulation detection sticks for reasonable pricing which you can use also.

i know some feel CM is one of the best methods, but i lean towards temp and detector sticks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

I am in my 30's and trying to get pregnant. We have been trying for a few months now with no success.

I had never been on the pill before but i got on for about 6 months and found that after I got off the pill my cycle has shifted.

I have had very regular periods, 26 days and my menses for about 5 days. In the last few months my cycle has not shifted but my concern is that I only menstruate for one day and then spot for a day or so.

Could this mean that I am not ovulating??

many people on the pill see a regulation of their cycle and a decrease in the amount of flow, which seems to be a good thing.

this should not, by itself, affect your ovulation. likely, you are ovulating, and in order to become pregnant, you must give it time.

about 10% of couples become pregnant each month of trying, so after a year, a normally fertile couple will be pregnant.

if you are concerned about whether or not you are ovulating, there are low cost kits you can use to confirm it.

also, our new edition of gender selection book has a section on how to "get pregnant fast"
