some additional information might help--how long have you been trying to have the second baby? what type of birth control were you using prior to trying? what is your approximate ages?

getting pregnant is easier for some than others. there is an article you can refer to at www.washingtonpublishers.com under the "ask dr moore" archives. it is titled "get pregnant fast". it highlights some of the natural methods you can apply to make it more likely to get pregnant.

it can take upward of a year for a normal couple to get pregnant, after that, one should consider seeing an ob/gyn for a fertility evaluation.

the concept behind how to get pregnant fast is ways to increase sperm counts and also timing of sex to the ovulation date, so conception is more likely to occur.
